Dr. Jane M Wilburne is an
assistant professor at Penn State Harrisburg in Middletown, PA. Her teaching
responsibilities include secondary mathematics methods, mathematics content
courses for elementary education majors, as well as graduate courses in
assessment and mathematics education. Her research interests include preservice elementary teachers' problem-solving
self-efficacy and abilities, assessment practices in the classroom, and using
storybooks to promote mathematical problem solving in the elementary classroom.
Dr. Mike
Long is an assistant professor at the Shippensburg University of
Pennsylvania. His teaching responsibilities include teaching courses in
calculus, statistics, mathematics for elementary teachers, and secondary
methods as well as graduate content courses for secondary teachers. His
research interests include: preparation of and dispositions of pre-service
mathematics teachers, multiple representations of higher level mathematics
concepts, and number theory.
