Sarah Quebec Fuentes was a middle and high school mathematics teacher for ten years
prior to receiving her doctoral degree in mathematics education from Montclair
State University. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Texas Christian University.
She teaches mathematics methods courses for undergraduate pre-service teachers
across all grade levels as well as graduate mathematics education courses. Her
current research projects focus on classroom discourse, inquiry in
mathematics and science instruction, teacher self-efficacy, elementary-level
textbook analysis, and developing university-high school collaborations.
