Margarita
Jimenez-Silva is an assistant professor at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College
at Arizona State University. She currently teaches courses which prepare
preservice and and inservice teachers to work with English learners. Prior to
her work at ASU, she taught math and science to English learners in middle
school in Northern California. Her research focus includes working
collaboratively with content specialists to make grade-level academic content
accessible to English learners.
Janel
D. White-Taylor has taught at the university and middle school level for 15
years. As a clinical assistant
professor, she teaches preservice and inservice teachers how to infuse
technology into the classroom. She also oversees a large community based
program. Her primary interest is researching and developing innovative programs
and curriculums that infuse technology into content areas.
Conrado
L. Gómez spent 28 years as a teacher and principal at the elementary and middle
school level in the Tucson Unified School District in Tucson, AZ. A clinical
assistant professor, he teaches structured English immersion and multicultural
education courses at Arizona State University. His main interest is writing for
journals that cater to educational practitioners.
