Kyong-Hee Melody Lee is Professor of Mathematics at the University
of Southern Indiana. She teaches mathematics content and methods courses
for elementary education majors as well as the History of Mathematics for
mathematics and secondary mathematics education majors. She received a
B.A. degree in Mathematics from New York University, and a doctoral degree in
education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her current
research interests involve analyzing Japanese and Singapore elementary school
mathematics curriculum, and their teacher training programs.
Anne Statham is Professor of
Sociology and Director of Service Learning at University of Southern
Indiana. She teaches in the areas of civic engagement, sociology, social
psychology and gender studies. She has numerous publications in these
areas.
