Esra Bukova-Güzel is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at Dokuz Eylül University. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education in 2006 at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Educational Sciences. She was born in Izmir, 1979. Her major fields of study are mathematical modelling, subject matter knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge, constructivist learning approach, teacher education and problem solving.

Berna Cantürk-Günhan is Lecturer of Mathematics Education at Dokuz Eylül University. received her Ph.D. in mathematics education in 2006 at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Educational Sciences. She was born in Denizli, 1975. Her major fields of study are problem-based learning, geometry teaching, technology integration in mathematics learning, teacher education, and drama in mathematics education
