Anna Bargagliotti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). She has extensive experience working with preservice teachers as well as working with school districts and in-service teachers. Currently, she is the Principal Investigator of the NSF-funded Project-SET, directs the Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics program at LMU, is an associate editor of the Journal for Statistics Education, and is an author of the American Statistical Association’s Statistics Education of Teachers report.

 

Tim Jacobbe is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and Statistics Education at the University of Florida and Principal Investigator of the NSF-Funded Levels of Conceptual Understanding in Statistics (LOCUS) Project. Jacobbe is the current chair of the Joint American Statistical Association and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Committee on Curriculum in Statistics and Probability. He was an author on a team that produced Bridging the Gap between Common Core State Standards and Teaching Statistics and NCTM’s Developing Essential Understanding of Statistics for Teaching Mathematics in Grades 6–8.

 

Derek Webb is professor of statistics and mathematics and department chairperson of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Bemidji State University, MN.  His research interests include K-12 statistics and mathematics education, mathematics success for underrepresented students, and standardized test assessment for K-12 school districts. He also recently has been the editor for the American Statistical Association’s Statistics Teachers Network newsletter.
