Beth Johnson
is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Education at Wilkes
University, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She teaches courses in educational research and
quantitative methods. Her research interests are in the fields of statistics
education and the scoring of performance assessment items.
Suriza van der Sandt is an Associate Professor
in the Mathematics and Statistics Department at The College of New Jersey,
Ewing, NJ. She teaches courses in both pure mathematics and mathematics
education. Her research interests include geometry teaching and learning; and
factors influencing teaching and learning of pre-service mathematics
teachers.
